Technical Skills
- Proficient in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
- Strong command of data storytelling, dashboard design, and UX/UI principles
- Experience working with SQL, data warehouses, and APIs for data sourcing
- Ability to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable visual insights
- Familiarity with web-based visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Plotly) is a plus
Professional Experience
- 3+ years of experience in data visualization or BI development
- Proven track record of building dashboards and reports for diverse audiences
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including data engineers and analysts
- Exposure to agile or hybrid development environments
- Comfortable presenting findings to clients and stakeholders
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and visual storytelling abilities
- Attention to detail and commitment to visual clarity and consistency
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently
- Collaborative, user-centered mindset with a focus on client needs
- Open to feedback and iterative design processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with international or nonprofit organizations
- Understanding of key data governance and privacy principles
- Bilingual (English/French or English/Spanish) is a strong advantage
- Familiarity with SDG reporting, public dashboards, or government data portals
- Graphic design or branding experience is a plus
